Exercise 1: Conversation exercise

Instruction:

  1. Je bent op zoek naar een boek en vraagt de secretaresse waar je het kunt vinden. (You are looking for a book and ask the secretary where to find it. )
  2. Beschrijf een boek dat je onlangs hebt gelezen en leuk vond. (Describe a book you recently read and liked;)

Exercise 3: Match a word

Instruction: Match the translations

Mag ik dit boek bij u lenen voor twee weken? (May I borrow this book from you for two weeks?)
De schrijver vertelt een spannend verhaal over zijn jeugd. (The author tells an exciting story about his childhood.)
In de bibliotheek kun je poëzie en sprookjes lezen. (In the library, you can read poetry and fairy tales.)
Heeft u de nieuwe roman van die auteur al gelezen? (Have you read the new novel by that author yet?)
