1. Jeroen: Hoi Mila! Wanneer ben jij jarig? (Hi Mila! When is your birthday?)
2. Mila: Ik verjaar op 2 oktober. En jij? (I celebrate my birthday on 2 October. And you?)
3. Jeroen: Ik op 20 juni. Ik word dertig dit jaar. (Me on 20 June. I'm turning thirty this year.)
4. Mila: Wat leuk! Ik word er al tweeëndertig dit jaar. (How nice! I'll already be thirty-two this year.)
5. Jeroen: Geef je een verjaardagsfeest? (Are you throwing a birthday party?)
6. Mila: Ja! Mijn opa en oma zijn er altijd. Mijn ouders, mijn zus, en drie neven ook. (Yes! My grandparents are always there. My parents, my sister, and three cousins too.)
7. Jeroen: Ik nodig mijn moeder, broer, en mijn nichtje uit. (I invite my mother, brother, and my niece.)
8. Mila: Wat gezellig. Hoe oud is jouw nichtje? (How cosy. How old is your niece?)
9. Jeroen: Zij is vijf jaar oud. (She is five years old.)
10. Mila: En jouw moeder? (And your mother?)
