1. Nonkel: Hé Isabel! Leuk je weer te zien. Hoe gaat het met je studie? (Hey Isabel! Nice to see you again. How is your studies going?)
2. Isabel: Goed! Ik studeer rechten aan de universiteit hier in Leiden. (Good! I study law at the university here in Leiden.)
3. Nonkel: Rechten? Hebben ze hier ook niet economie, talen of wetenschappen? En bevalt het? (Law? Don't they have economics, languages, or sciences here as well? And do you like it?)
4. Isabel: Soms is het moeilijk, maar wel leuk. Wat doe jij tegenwoordig? (Sometimes it's difficult, but fun. What do you do nowadays?)
5. Nonkel: Ik werk nog steeds als verpleger in het ziekenhuis in Den Haag. Ik help de dokter. (I still work as a nurse in the hospital in The Hague. I assist the doctor.)
6. Isabel: Juist, net zoals mijn mama. En hoe gaat het met tante Ingrid? Nog steeds leraar? (Exactly, just like my mum. And how is Aunt Ingrid? Still a teacher?)
7. Nonkel: Ze werkt nu als kapster in een nieuw salon. Ze heeft een burn-out van de kinderen. (She now works as a hairdresser in a new salon. She's burned out from the kids.)
