🛰️ Oude Russische capsule valt terug naar de aarde

Een oude Russische ruimtecapsule is teruggekomen op aarde.
De capsule heet Kosmos 482. Ze werd gelanceerd in het jaar 1972.

De capsule moest naar de planeet Venus gaan, maar dat is niet gelukt.
Door een fout bleef de capsule rond de aarde vliegen.

Op 10 mei 2025 kwam de capsule terug in de atmosfeer van de aarde.
De capsule viel waarschijnlijk in de Indische Oceaan.

De capsule was heel sterk. Ze kon hoge druk en hitte aan dus ze is niet opgebrand.
Misschien zijn er nog stukjes van de capsule op aarde gevallen.
Tot nu toe heeft niemand iets gevonden.

Er is geen gevaar voor mensen.
Maar het laat zien dat oude ruimtetuigen in de ruimte terug kunnen komen en een gevaar kunnen zijn.

An old Russian space capsule has returned to Earth.
The capsule is called Kosmos 482. It was launched in the year 1972.

The capsule was supposed to go to the planet Venus, but that did not succeed.
Due to an error, the capsule remained orbiting the Earth.

On 10 May 2025, the capsule re-entered the Earth's atmosphere.
The capsule probably fell into the Indian Ocean.

The capsule was very strong. It could withstand high pressure and heat, so it did not burn up.
Perhaps some pieces of the capsule have fallen on Earth.
So far, no one has found anything.

There is no danger to humans.
But it shows that old spacecraft can return from space and pose a hazard.
